Spinning "fake" news takes Jack and Jill on a long ride to la la land!
Every alert American now knows that the most popular main stream news media (television, radio, and online) have gradually developed a strong "political left" bias. This biased news has caused Americans -- especially those whose political beliefs are not politically left -- to label nearly all popular American main stream media news as "fake news." Indeed, this news bias causes important "politically right" news to be minimized or berated and even often omitted from newscasts altogether.
Wouldn't it be great (unless you also have a strong left bias yourself) to have a news source that is balanced politically? One that is neither strongly left or right politically, but simply seeks to report the plain truth about the news in a fair and nearly unbiased manner? Shouldn't even politically left persons also desire genuinely true politically unbiased news?
You are invited to use this fact checking site and to also visit the following news sources that appear to have set aside the strong left bias of America's most popular media by taking pride in producing news in a truthfully open and much more politically balanced manner. After all, isn't the sharp cutting blade of bright "middle-of-the-road" truth much more desirable than the shadowy candy-coated woven lies of strongly biased information -- regardless of whether that news is politically tainted, or strongly biased left or right?
Give the following news sources a test drive for a week. The real truth in all news travels much deeper than the propaganda bias that so many people are frequently hearing day after day. Honest non-manipulated news can leave one amazingly more informed about important vital events than the so-called candy-coated news of the popular fake news media. BBC.com (British Broadcasting Corporation). A non-profit British government sponsored news entity funded by a tax assessed to all British households owning a T.V. Although not fully focused on U.S.A. news, having much less involvement in American party politics, most American news derived by BBC stays close to being fair and politically neutral.
Reuters.com A powerful multi-national news gathering network that makes its money by skillfully covering numerous significant news happenings worldwide on its own website. Reuters also sells that news to many other worldwide news agencies which lack the resources to cover many important foreign events. Article titles are mostly neutral by employing journalists that are heavily fact-based, but are obviously sometimes off the neutrality mark by allowing information that is currently based only on popular public opinion and trends. Despite its attempt at political neutrality, Reuters doesn’t pull any punches. U.S. based stories are featured which take a hard line against evil, economic corruption, and unethical politicians without taking sides in the various worldwide political arenas.
NPR.com (National Public Radio, Inc.) Independent reporting with an objective to be politically neutral. NPR is a nonprofit news media organization that connects with 60 million Americans on the air, online, and in person to cover a wide variety of worldwide news topics. Their headquarters in Washington, D.C. oversees 17 international and 17 domestic bureaus. NPR teams in the U.S. and across the globe seek to cover the most important stories wherever they are happening. NPR's objective is to make local stories national and important global stories into news that can enlighten and affect everyone personally.
Mic Drop Politics.com Specializes in world news that is often very politically controversial or volatile. Mostly delivers short insider cuts of news that popular mainstream news agencies -- especially TV news agencies -- will not release, or will only publish if edited in a manner that twists or omits the real truth to favor their own political slant instead. Remarkably enough, due to the powerful news control of most mainstream media, you may need to enter your computer search for this URL several times using popular search engines before you can gain direct access to this website! The following is just one, but a very stunning example, of the crucial difference between "fake news" and true news! Don't pass this by!
This news involves NBC's editorial release (April 23, 2021) about the police shooting of the 16 year old girl named Ma'Khia Bryant, who was shot by a police officer as she was violently attempting to stab another girl with a knife. (Incidentally, many other popular “fake news” organizations besides NBC produce daily “news” but are not mentioned here relative to this news story due to reading space.)
Here’s the story: In the front yard of the residence of a few young people, another group of young people confronted them and fighting erupted among some in the group. It became so uncontrollable that the police were called to intervene. One officer who had just recently arrived on scene and had drawn his gun, commanded one girl, named Ma’Khia, who was threatening another girl with a knife, to drop the knife. When she did not comply but continued to lunge the knife toward the girl, the officer shot her. Video of this activity, which included Ma’Khia's actions and the actual shooting, was clearly captured on the body camera of one of the other officers who had also arrived on the scene, and also by a security camera across the street from the brawl.
Upon reviewing these videos and other body cam videos taken from other angles by other officers, it is clear that this shooting appeared justified to prevent serious stabbing harm or death to the other girl and possibly others close by. However, the news report and video released by NBC news showed only selected parts of the police camera videos. Remarkably, NBC’s edited version clearly seems to deliberately lead the viewer to conclude that the shooting was improper, unnecessary, and done by a trigger-happy cop.
The news article that was released by NBC leaves many unanswered questions. Instead it emphasizes an obviously biased defense of Ma’Khia’s behavior, even including a quote from a family member cousin calling the incident “the tragic and unnecessary death of the girl.” Soon after NBC’s first “Ma’Khia Shooting” news release, another NBC release pushed their biased conclusion of Ma’Khia’s “innocence” even further. On April 23d, NBC released more candy coating with the headline “Family of Ma’Khia Speaks Out After Teen is Killed by Columbus Police.” Read that release and you may be incensed enough to demand defunding of the entire Columbus Police Department!
In addition to NBC, a number of other mainstream “fake news” headlines, all of which remained live more than twelve hours after the body-camera footage was released also played this "Ma'Khia innocence" game. All these, as remarkable and disappointing as it may be, ignored what is arguably the most important detail about the incident: that Bryant was armed and in the process of violently assaulting someone with a knife when she was shot, and instead focus on portraying what they label as trigger-happy police that are out-of-touch with the community and, of course, Bryant’s race.
In stark contrast to the above NBC news release, MicDropPolitics.com published their news story this same day, April 23, 2021, with the following headline:
New Video Shows “loving” Ma’Khia Bryant Screaming “I’m gonna
stab the fu*ck out of you, bitch!” As She Lunged At 2 Unarmed Girls
The MicDropPolitics.com news release included the following information which was completely ignored in the NBC news release and also in other biased major “fake news” versions of this news story found across the USA:
Camera footage taken from military veteran neighbor Donavon Brinson’s security camera (he lives across the street from the incident) shows another angle of the officer-involved shooting death of the16-year-old Ma’Khia. Donavon said his home security camera footage proves Columbus Police Officer Nicholas Reardon "had no choice but to shoot the black 16-year-old because more people could have been killed if he hadn’t acted.”
Donavon gave his security footage to police and said if not for the officer’s heroic act, more people would have died. “He could have either not fired and the young lady in pink could have been stabbed in the neck and been injured brutally or fatally and then he could have shot [Ma’Khia] and we could have had two [young women] dead – or he could have responded in the way that he did and one young lady lost her life.”
This added camera angle shows the Columbus police officer immediately trying to deescalate the situation before firing his weapon. Additional police body cam footage released by the Columbus, Ohio, mayor also showed Makiyah Bryant attempting to stab someone as the officer acted swiftly and opened fire.

"I just watched [today] as a massive crane took down the magnificent and very famous statue of “Robert E. Lee On His Horse” in Richmond, Virginia. It has long been recognized as a beautiful piece of bronze sculpture. To add insult to injury, those who support this “taking down” now plan to cut it into three pieces, and throw this work of art into storage prior to its complete desecration.
Robert E. Lee is considered by many Generals [of the Civil War] to be the greatest strategist of them all. President Lincoln wanted him to command the North, in which case the war would have been over in one day. Robert E. Lee instead chose the other side because of his great love of Virginia, and except for Gettysburg, would have won the war. He should be remembered as perhaps the greatest unifying force after the war was over, ardent in his resolve to bring the North and South together through many means of reconciliation and imploring his soldiers to do their duty in becoming good citizens of this country.
Our culture is being destroyed and our history and heritage, both good and bad, are being extinguished by the Radical Left, and we can’t let that happen! If only we had Robert E. Lee to command our troops in Afghanistan, that disaster would have ended in a complete and total victory many years ago. What an embarrassment we are suffering because we don’t have the genius of a Robert E. Lee!"
